About Yapa Labs
Yapa Labs is a small product studio based in Sri Lanka. We design and build focused SaaS tools, retrieval-backed AI workflows, and Flutter applications.
Our Mission
Our aim is to turn a clearly defined user problem into a useful first release without hiding uncertainty behind technical language. That means narrowing scope, building one complete workflow, documenting important limitations, and improving the product after it is used.

Who We Are
Yapa Labs was founded by Dilanka Yapa, a software engineer working across Python backends, web interfaces, mobile applications, and AI integrations. The studio operates remotely from Sri Lanka. Articles on this site identify Dilanka as the author so readers can distinguish first-party guidance from anonymous content.

UniCompass and RateHive are public products linked from this site. Our products page records what each product currently does, who it is for, and the limitations users should understand. We do not present an unavailable prototype as a completed client result.
